INFORMATION SERVICES
Through this service, any person can contact the ELC and receive information on environmental law. As needed, referrals are made to law firms and environmental experts. This free service is unique in Alberta and is supported by the Alberta Law Foundation and by the charitable donors to the Environmental Law Centre.
This service includes:
- The public resource Library, a collection of over 19,000 items relevant to environmental and natural resources law and policy. Online access to the catalog is available.
- Frequently Asked Environmental Law Questions, a series of answers to commonly asked questions along with sources for further information.
- The ABC's of Environmental Jurisdiction, an alphabetical guide to how environmental issues are regulated in Alberta.
- Free consultation with a lawyer on your environmental law question or concern. Contact information is provided.
The ELC would like to thank the Alberta Law Foundation, which has provided ongoing financial support for this program since 1982.
